Over 24 years in the business, we convey our deep roots within the sign industry across every project... 

...yet, we are NOT a traditional sign company.

 

Catalyst Signworks was a long time dream of the owner, Ted Potter, from early on in his career. Ted learned from the ground-up as a true greenhorn gaining experience in and out of the shop.  From teaching himself design programs to conducting experiments with different paint schemes and finishing techniques he was able to hone his craft and stack true experience under his belt. Moving into production, fabrication, planning and installation soon thereafter. Nothing teaches better than experience. All while being immersed in the college life and working a full time job (along with a colorful college baseball career at MSU) Ted was always learning and wanting to better himself in the sign industry.  If you ask him, he'll answer humbly with his famous line "we do the same thing every day but never the same thing twice - we're always learning".  This is the nature of the signage and advertising business and is ultimately the reason he fell in love with the industry.  Hand carving and gilding are his past time passions as exact timing, the correct tools and touch are the most important aspects in finishing carved signs.  Along with those lessons learned, he gravitated towards vinyl graphics and the art of application.

Fast forward to present day, Catalyst Signworks has been entrusted by some of the best businesses around with delivering a solid product and service experience that Ted holds in the highest regard. Where would we be without our clients giving us an opportunity to perform! Ultimately wanting to elevate and improve the overall client experience from start to finish and all of the relevant details in between that would build a hopeful and loyal following with the company. Service, material sourcing, navigation of local laws and overall know-how would drive Catalyst Signworks to where it is today.
